As a Curriculum Developer for a public transit agency in Ontario, I design technical training for transit mechanics. I researched EV technician courses and discovered this program because our fleet is currently transitioning to electric vehicle (EV) buses.
The self-guided, remote learning format made it easy to integrate into my busy work schedule. The software provided was very helpful, and I am already applying what I’ve learned to the in-house training programs I develop. Since completing the program, I’ve been assigned as the primary developer for our EV-related programs. My opinions and decisions now carry more weight because they are backed by the specialized knowledge I gained. I am grateful to my employer for their support, as this program aligns perfectly with my professional responsibilities.
